The ideal candidate will provide support and oversight during group sessions, ensure a safe and respectful environment, and maintain clear communication with clients and staff. Responsibilities Monitor group sessions to ensure client safety, participation, and adherence to program guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients to provide support, encouragement, and guidance as needed. Address and de-escalate any issues that arise during group sessions in a calm and professional manner. Document group attendance, participation, and any notable incidents in compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate with clinical staff to share observations that support treatment planning and client progress. Provide a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters client engagement and growth. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times. Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations. Ability to remain calm under pressure and use appropriate de-escalation techniques when necessary. Dependability and consistency in following schedules and program guidelines. Basic understanding of behavioral health, addiction, or recovery principles (preferred but not required). Willingness to learn and grow within the organization, with opportunities for advancement.
