Job Description

Clarity Wellness Community is a progressive not-for-profit organization providing behavioral health services in Allegany and Wyoming counties. Clarity's mission is to empower people with care, connections and support for a lifetime of choice. We are currently seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Counselor in our Wellsville PROS program to support adults on their path to wellness. Rehabilitation Counselors work in a dynamic and person-centered setting providing a variety of counseling, rehabilitation and support services. A few of these responsibilities include: Completing initial assessments to help individuals identify how mental health and/or substance use symptoms interfere with reaching their maximum potential Conducting individual, group and family psychoeducation services to assist individuals in learning to live independently, build natural supports, findkeep a job, reach higher levels of education and secure preferred housing. Communication and coordination with other service providers and natural community supports Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed
Hours:
Full-time 40 hours (Monday-Friday)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field with 1 year experience in mental health or other human services field or Associates Degree in human services related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health setting or another human services field. Must have a valid driver's license. Use of personal vehicle may be necessary.
