Be the Person Who Makes Sure Nothing Falls Through the Cracks We're a small, fast-growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in the Cleveland, OH area, hiring a Case Manager to quarterback our clients' cases day to day. If you've worked as an insurance claims adjuster, in claims operations, or in any process-driven role where details and follow-through are everything, we want to talk to you. This isn't a receptionist or paralegal role. It's a high-ownership seat on a tight-knit team where your work directly shapes our clients' outcomes. What You'll Do You're the client's main contact and our counterpart to the insurance adjuster on the other side. Day to day, you'll: Check in with clients on treatment, recovery, and how they're holding up Answer everyday questions about their case, insurance, and medical bills Coordinate with carriers, adjusters, medical providers, and lienholders Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and wage-loss documentation Keep case files meticulous so attorneys always know where every case stands Flag missed appointments, treatment gaps, and carrier issues early Help move cases toward demand and resolution Who You Are Detail-obsessed. Loose ends bother you on a personal level. Process-minded. You like systems and build them when they're missing. Calm under pressure. Clients call upset, adjusters stall, records don't arrive. You stay steady. A clear communicator. You can explain things to clients in plain English and write a sharp email to defense counsel in the same hour. Background We Especially Want to See Prior experience as an insurance claims adjuster (auto, BI, PIP, property, or similar) on any side of the table Claims processing, claims support, or carrier-side operations Medical billing, healthcare admin, or medical records work Paralegal or legal assistant experience at a PI firm (plaintiff or defense) Don't check every box?
