Job Description

BILINGUAL INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER UMCF
is seeking a Bilingual Intensive Case Manager for post release services.
Position Summary:
The Caminos Post Release Services Intensive Case Manager (ICM) provides community-based supportive mental health services to recently migrated youth and their families. The ICM is responsible for delivering culturally competent services that consist of mental health assessments, screening for human trafficking concerns, crisis intervention and support services for recently migrated youth as they adjust to life in the United States. The ICM supports the delivery of UMCF trauma informed model by collaborating with the Post Release Services case management team to ensure the youth and their caregivers receive comprehensive services and are connected to both formal and informal resources in their community.
Continuing Education:
  • Paid training in Evidence Based and Trauma Informed Practices is provided
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish/English Required (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement or;
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the above categories with at least five years of clinical experience from an accredited college or University
  • Current LSW, LPC, LISW-C, LIPC, LMFT, or eligible for licensure at the time of application.
  • Must have strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with families and community partners
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
  • Travel required
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including refugee and/or unaccompanied immigrant children and adolescents
  • One-year experience providing direct services to youth and families
