Job Description

Intensive Case Manager - FT Aurora Project, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and solutions-focused Full-Time Intensive Case Manager to support women and children living within a transitional housing environment. This position is ideal for individuals who work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments and who are comfortable balancing crisis intervention, housing stabilization, systems navigation, client advocacy, and community resource coordination. The Intensive Case Manager provides trauma-informed and intensive case management services to residents experiencing crisis, housing instability, recovery challenges, and barriers to long-term self-sufficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop individualized case plans for residents Conduct regular one-on-one intensive case management sessions Support residents in achieving goals related to employment, education, budgeting, recovery, and life skills Coordinate services with community agencies, behavioral health providers, housing resources, treatment providers, and other service partners Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation and case records Respond appropriately to crisis situations and changing resident needs Assist with housing stabilization, referrals, admissions, and program compliance Participate in team meetings and collaborative service planning Assist in developing and facilitating resident programming, support groups, workshops, and life-skills activities Ideal Candidate Qualities Emotionally resilient and adaptable Able to manage multiple priorities in changing environments Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small-agency environment Able to maintain professionalism during high-stress situations Understands the importance of boundaries, accountability, and client-centered support Flexible and responsive to evolving program and resident needs Qualifications High School Diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred Experience in homelessness services, recovery support, behavioral health, housing services, crisis intervention, or nonprofit work preferred Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time, in-person position serving a residential transitional housing program. Aurora Project operates within a dynamic environment serving residents experiencing crisis, instability, recovery, and housing barriers. Staff should be prepared to work within evolving systems, changing priorities, and situations requiring flexibility, professionalism, initiative, and sound judgment. While the primary schedule is generally Monday through Friday during business hours, occasional evening, weekend, or after-hours responsiveness may be required based on resident needs, admissions, crisis situations, or operational demands. Standard probationary employment evaluation procedures apply. $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
