The Rape Crisis Advocate/Volunteer Manager provides direct crisis intervention, advocacy, information, referral, and case management services to survivors of sexual assault in Lucas County, Fulton County, and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for hospital outreach and accompaniment services, ongoing case management for survivors in the community and at the emergency shelter, and the recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers serving the Rape Crisis Center. The Advocate/Volunteer Manager ensures all services are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and consistent with agency policies and best practices in sexual assault advocacy. Associate's degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sexual assault services, social sciences, or a related human services field. Successful completion of agency-mandated program training. Valid OH driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of current automobile insurance required. Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and sound judgment in crises. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to uphold clear professional boundaries while providing empathetic support.
Salary range:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour, benefits available.
