• Part-time The Family Crisis Center, Inc. is looking for a part time weekend daytime Victim Advocates at the Domestic Violence Shelter. Daytime shifts are from 8am
• 6pm. All applicants must complete a paper application which are available at FCC's main office Monday
• Thursday between 8am
• 5pm unless other arrangements are made.

The main office is located at 1400 Hoppe Blvd, Suite 3 in Ada (between petsense and kids choice therapy).

Job Description:

Effectively answer crisis hot line to provide education, advocacy, and referrals. Demonstrate a professional attitude in dealing with clients, staff, and other professionals. Complete initial intake and exit procedures. Be able to maintain working relationship with client while providing necessary services to help clients reach their goals. Facilitate group and individual advocacy services. Assist shelter residents with daily living and parenting activities Refer to community resources and services necessary for shelter residents and their children Ensure accurate documentation including case note documentation. Ensure compliance with agency/shelter policies and procedures. Complete assigned night or weekend duties. Maintain the enforcement of Shelter Guidelines. Assist in the orientation of new staff and volunteers. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings. Attend and participate regularly in case consultation with staff Ideal candidates: High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Set and maintain ethically appropriate boundaries Self
