Job Description
Description and Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, planning, and overall coordination of case management services for both DV emergency safe havens. Including but not limited to the following responsibilities: Ensuring that we are meeting all case management standards and regulatory and/or funding requirements; Assisting in strategic and operational planning for all residential safe haven programs; Co-Facilitation of Client Review weekly meetings, Coordinate case management services client groups (such as community meetings, red flag meetings, client workshops, etc.); Assisting clients and other staff in establishing and maintaining a safe and supportive community environment; Conducting semi-annual outreach to former clients (exit surveys) to determine if more resources or support are needed; Coordinating with Safe Haven management and teams as needed to support clients, coordinate groups, and provide interventions; Rotational on-call coverage for sites; Compiling, reviewing and maintaining monthly program statistics, and other reports as needed; and Maintaining the Office of Homeless Services coordinated assessment reports and/or other community level data for housing applications (CEA-BHRS). Requirements:
A Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution required, a MSW or MAA preferred. 1-2 years of supervisory experience in social services, working with vulnerable populations, domestic violence and/or residential setting is required. A minimum of 3 years of Case Management experience working with vulnerable populations.Experience with residential and supportive programs, and knowledge of Philadelphias housing programs are requiredDemonstrated skills in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, group facilitation and client supportive counseling is strongly preferred. Experience in leading focused and unstructured groups required.
Demonstrated excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills are required.
Prior experience using client database is required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office software, Outlook, Word, & Excel.
Demonstrated ability to effectively represent an advocacy agency or function is required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population in is required, and in an urban setting strongly preferred.
Bilingualism is strongly preferred.
A valid drivers license required, and vehicle ownership preferred. PA Domestic Violence Advocate Training Certification required, post hireSatisfactory Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Clearances, required pre-hire and regularly run thereafter (expenses paid by WAA)
Schedule:
FT, 40 hrs/week Monday - Friday, with rotational on-call responsibilitiesSalary Range:
$49,419 - $58,782, depending on experience along with a comprehensive and generous benefits package.Location:
