Job Description
Happy Child Supervision is a professional supervised visitation service operating throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. We work directly with family courts, attorneys, and families to ensure safe, structured, and documented interactions between parents and children. We are expanding our supervisor network across Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver, and Butler Counties and looking for qualified professionals to join on a flexible, part-time independent contractor basis. This is an excellent opportunity for those in law enforcement, social services, corrections, or child welfare seeking meaningful supplemental work. What You'll Do Monitor court-ordered supervised visitation sessions between parents and children Maintain accurate, professional session notes and documentation Remain neutral and professional at all times Communicate promptly with HCS staff regarding scheduling and case updates Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation Professional background in law enforcement, social work, corrections, child welfare, or probation/parole strongly preferred Must pass a criminal background check prior to first assignment Must obtain Pennsylvania child abuse clearances upon hiring — Happy Child will provide guidance Strong written communication skills for accurate case documentation What We Offer Flexible scheduling — you set your availability and can accept or decline any assignment Competitive pay — $30 to $40 per hour Meaningful work directly supporting child safety and the court system Independent contractor (1099) — ideal supplemental income alongside a primary position
