Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pre-Litigation Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing cases prior to litigation, ensuring thorough case review, accurate documentation, and effective communication with clients and legal professionals. Your expertise will help streamline the pre-litigation process, facilitate timely resolution of disputes, and support the overall efficiency of our legal operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse areas of law, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, and more, while honing your project management and legal research skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload efficiently and independently Guide cases through the pre-litigation process with organization, urgency, and attention to detail Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date case files Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients throughout the life of the case Review medical records, billing records, insurance information, and other case materials Identify and evaluate liability and damages issues Communicate and coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and clients to keep cases progressing Draft demand packages, including liability, PIP, and UM/UIM demands Negotiate claims and help move cases toward resolution Work closely with attorneys and staff to deliver excellent client service and high-quality representation Perform other related duties as needed Experience Significant experience as a plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation case manager Strong experience drafting demand letters and handling negotiations Ability to manage a caseload with minimal hand-holding Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Client-centered, professional, and empathetic approach Comfortable working in a technology-driven law firm with modern systems and processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
