Contract | Commission + Performance Bonuses About the Role Assisted Living Locators is a nationally recognized senior care placement and referral service expanding in the Charlotte metro area. We're hiring an experienced Senior Advocate Placement Agent on a 1099 independent contractor basis. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to seniors and their families — guiding them through one of life's most important decisions at no cost to them. Our fees are paid by the care communities we place clients into, so your job is advocacy, not sales. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth needs assessments with seniors and families to evaluate care level, budget, and preferences Match clients to appropriate senior living options including assisted living, memory care, independent living, and in-home care Accompany clients on community tours and advocate on their behalf throughout the placement process Build and maintain referral relationships with hospital discharge planners, social workers, geriatric care managers, physicians, and elder law attorneys Manage an active pipeline of clients with timely follow-up and responsive communication Track placements and client interactions in CRM software Stay current on community inventory, pricing, and quality ratings across the Charlotte market Qualifications 3+ years of experience in senior care placement, healthcare sales, discharge planning, geriatric social work, or a related field Strong knowledge of senior living care levels and North Carolina regulations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple cases independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for tours and home visits CNA, LPN, CSA, or social work certification a plus Compensation Commission per successful placement — competitive with market rates Performance bonuses available based on placement volume, client satisfaction, and referral partner growth Top-performing agents earn six figures annually Full compensation details provided during the interview process Contract Terms This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors set their own schedules and operate autonomously. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. A non-compete and non-solicitation agreement is required, restricting placement activity within the Charlotte metro territory for 12 months following the end of the engagement.
