The Case Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the litigation process. Additional responsibilities include tracking treatment progress, monitoring deadlines, assisting attorneys with case preparation, ensuring all case documentation is accurate and complete, and maintaining organized electronic and physical files. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Prepare and organize demand packages for submission to insurance companies and opposing parties Draft discovery requests, responses, and other case-related legal documents Maintain and manage client files, both electronic and physical Obtain, review, organize, and summarize medical records and billing documentation Communicate with clients regarding case updates, treatment status, and requested documentation Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other third parties Track case deadlines, treatment progress, and outstanding records or balances Assist attorneys with case preparation, litigation support, and file management Ensure all case documents are accurate, complete, and properly filed Monitor and update case management systems and internal databases Schedule appointments, depositions, and other case-related meetings as needed Maintain confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards Support the overall workflow and daily operations of the law firm's case management process Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation Knowledge of legal terminology and litigation procedures Experience drafting discovery and legal correspondence Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite Experience handling medical records and billing documentation Client relations and customer service skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment Understanding of confidentiality and legal compliance requirements Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain workflow efficiency Professional communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers
