Job Description
Victim Advocate Duties:
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to victims of crime
- Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized safety plans for clients
- Assist clients in accessing resources and services such as counseling, legal assistance, and housing
- Accompany clients to court hearings, medical appointments, and other necessary appointments
- Advocate on behalf of clients with law enforcement, legal system, and other service providers
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients throughout the legal process
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
- Experience working with victims of crime or trauma is highly desirable
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Ability to provide childcare services as needed for clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of behavioral health issues and ability to provide appropriate referrals This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting victims of crime.

$30,000.00- $42,000.
