  • Full-time, Contract Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join our team, committed to supporting individuals and families through complex challenges.
In this role, you will assess client needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to promote safety, stability, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of social work principles, and a passion for making a positive impact in the community. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with diverse populations, including children and individuals with disabilities, within a structured and supportive environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' situations to identify needs related to child welfare, behavioral health, and family dynamics. Develop and implement individualized case plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and crisis intervention. Provide direct support and counseling to clients experiencing crises or behavioral health challenges. Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and legal entities to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive care. Document case progress accurately in accordance with agency policies and legal requirements. Assist in child protective services investigations by gathering information and ensuring child safety. Manage conflict resolution efforts between family members or service providers to facilitate positive outcomes. Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with community resources such as childcare, behavioral health services, or disability support programs. Maintain confidentiality while adhering to all applicable laws related to child welfare and family law. Participate in ongoing training on topics such as crisis management, working with children with disabilities, and behavioral health best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Prior experience working in child welfare, family services, or related social service settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and crisis intervention strategies. Knowledge of child protective services protocols and family law regulations. Strong skills in conflict management and behavioral health support. Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or vulnerable populations. Excellent communication skills—empathetic listening and clear documentation are essential. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
