Job Description

Job Title:
Senior Case Manager (Annuities) - Full, TimeOnsite at the following location: League City - Texas, Marina One Reports to: Senior Manager, Production American National is seeking a specialized annuity team member to ensure incoming applications are accurate, compliant, and ready to issue-while mentoring teammates and partnering with agents, external clients, and internal stakeholders. What you ll do Quality-check (QA) annuity new business applications for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory/state-form requirements Perform suitability review/analysis (including financial and funding details) and resolve red flags using sound judgment and established controls Manage a workflow of higher-dollar, higher-complexity cases (typically $750K+; policies may range into the multi-million-dollar level) and progress each case to issuance Coordinate with agents/financial advisors, and internal partners to obtain outstanding items and keep cases moving Process cash-with-application items and support related tracking and internal controls/audit readiness Mentor and support other case managers across the team; share best practices and help drive consistency What you ll bring Two years' minimum - Professional annuity work experience, understanding of annuity basics and terminology Strong attention to detail and ability to scrub applications for accuracy and completeness Ability to adhere and implement suitability review concepts and apply guidelines with independent judgment Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with external agents/advisors and internal partners Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) What will set you apart Experience with high-dollar annuity cases and time-sensitive issuance Insurance experience Familiarity with state-specific new business requirements and forms Experience mentoring peers or serving as a go-to resource on a team
