Pay:
Hourly, based on experience Job Summary Anchor Family Services is seeking a Foster Care/Adoption Case Manager to join our team in a part-time role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as caseload grows. This position is ideal for someone with prior Child-Placing Agency experience who is comfortable balancing office responsibilities with fieldwork, including regular travel to foster homes and working directly with children and families. Key Responsibilities Facilitate placements of children into foster homes or other appropriate living arrangements Conduct regular in-home visits to monitor child safety and well-being throughout the Dallas metroplex Maintain consistent communication with children, foster/adoptive families, and stakeholders Develop and implement individualized service plans based on each child's needs Complete all documentation in compliance with licensing standards, funding requirements, and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requirements Transport yourself and, when necessary, clients to appointments, visits, and services Participate in the orientation, assessment, and verification of foster and adoptive families Assist with and facilitate foster and adoptive parent training Provide ongoing support, guidance, and crisis response as needed Ensure children in care receive appropriate services and supports Schedule & Travel Requirements Frequent travel to client homes throughout the Dallas metroplex is required Employees should expect to spend a significant portion of time driving to and from visits, trainings, and appointments Work hours are not fixed and will vary based on client needs and caseload Evening and occasional weekend availability is required Position begins part-time, with hours increasing as caseload grows Combination of office-based work (Rockwall) and fieldwork Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field required At least 1 year of foster care or Child-Placing Agency experience preferred Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use Reliable transportation, valid Texas driver's license, and current auto insurance Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Must pass all required background checks (DPS, DFPS, FBI) Preferred Experience Previous experience working for a Child-Placing Agency Experience supporting foster or adoptive families Experience facilitating or assisting with training Why Join Anchor Family Services Anchor Family Services is committed to providing safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children in care.
