Under the direction of the Facility Administrator, the Case Manager provides support and structure to residents in developing program plans. Controls and secures the facility and residents, and operates within legal constraints and the contract agency stipulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Includes all responsibilities of Monitor Behave and communicate in a professional manner at all times Ensure staff compliance with the CSG Employee Handbook, the Statement of Work and the Policy and Operations Manual. Ensure adequate facility coverage for programmatic, security and safety concerns. Ensure work is performed in a safe manner and without injury to self or others Arrange and coordinate community resources for residents, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and other Community meetings Provide support and counseling to residents and assist them in meeting their programmatic and counseling goals. Coordinates all Cognitive Based Treatment Initiatives as required by TDCJ Statement of Work. Performs other duties as may be assigned by his/her immediate supervisor or higher authority. All staff is to ask residents to identify the gender of staff with whom they would feel most comfortable conducting the search upon intake when arriving to facility; and Searches are conducted in accordance with the inmate's gender identity. (Facilities that conduct searches based solely on the gender designation of the facility without considering other factors such as the gender identity or expression of the individual inmate or the inmate's preference regarding the gender of the person conducting the search, would not be compliant with Standards 115.15, 115.115, 115.215, and 115.315.)
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Must successfully complete all security clearance requirements to include: Criminal Background Investigation (TCIC/NCIC) Driver's License Check Drug Screen
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Six (6) months related work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
