- Part-time Vida Utah is a private probation and therapy agency looking for Probation Case Manager and office assistant.
We are looking for a mature individual to organize and coordinate administration duties and case mangement for convicted persons of misdemeanor offenses. We work closely with courts, attorneys and other probation officers. Your role is to ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. Duties and responsibilities include supervising probation for criminal offenders, case management, report writing, urinalysis collection, supervise electronic monitoring, answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing company calendar, accepting payments, billing, and providing general administrative support. A candidate should have experience with a variety of office software (Gmail, google office suite, Microsoft office suite, Quickbooks) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. We are a small business which means job duties may change or include items not listed. We are looking for someone who is organized and motivated that can not only grow with us but help us grow. This is an in office position. Hours are Monday through Friday varying from 10 am to 7:00 pm. May be required to work some Saturday and Sunday mornings. Hours and days may vary depending on our business needs. There may be some flexibilty with other team members. The current position is 30 hours per week. Responsibilities Managing a caseload Create probation agreements based on court orders Provide resources and support for convicted persons Write reports and other correspondence Conduct interviews Appear in court Assist with urinalysis testing Understand the court system Invoicing and Accounts Receivable / Collections and Billing Manage company calendar Provide accurate records and data input Provide general support to visitors Assist with electronic monitoring devices Other duties as assigned Qualifications High experience and confidence in technology. Can you effectively navigate through various applications and programs on the computer? High confidence and attention to detail (meaning you generally make very few mistakes) Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Great communication skills "I can Figure it Out" attitude Must be able to pass a background check
REQUIRED
SPEAK SPANISH Experience working with substance use and/or mental health disorders Experience working with criminal court system
REQUIRED
Bachelor Degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, social work or related area of study OR 4 years experience in a qualifying field OR 2 years education and 2 years experience.
PAY:
$19.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
