  • Full-time The Case Manager provides supervision and case management to individuals referred through the court system for alcohol and drug related offenses .
This position plays a critical role in promoting public safety by monitoring for compliance , coordinating treatment services and supporting behavior change among participants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct intake assessments for all clients, including substance use screening and risk evaluations Monitor client compliance with program requirements (education, treatment, ignition interlock, abstinence, etc) Maintain regular contact with clients, treatment providers, and the court Prepare and submit timely reports to the court regarding participant progress and non-compliance Provide referrals to appropriate treatment providers Maintain accurate, confidential case records in compliance with state regulations Testify in court when required
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services , or a related field Experience in case management, substance abuse or criminal justice preferred. Experience working with court mandated populations a plus. Knowledge of Virginia court procedures and substance treatment services. Familiarity with ignition interlock requirements and DUI-related laws in Virginia a plus. Strong organizational , communication, and documentation skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a criminal background check
