Security Specialist, Skill Level 3
Overall Assignment Description:
Case Management Support Duties include: (U) Responsible for managing the Level 2 to perform and support the duties described in position 19 (U) Provide case management support to established PERSEC program (U) Ensure case management team members provide timely security support to Personnel Security's internal and external tasking's, projects, and programs (U) Support the execution and maintenance of the day-to-dayNGA PERSEC
programs though case management initiatives (U) Provide agency level technical expertise concerning the personnel security disciplines and standard operating procedures in support of case management (U) Responsible for training case management contractor staff, as needed (U) Prepare, support and administer PERSEC case management program briefings, as needed (U) Prepare, write, and present reports, various forms of correspondence, as required (U) Research, prepare and maintain security procedures/guidance in support of case management (U) Brief SISP leadership and other NGA KC's, as required, regarding the program requirements and regulations in support of case management (U) Appropriately and accurately maintain and update databases and files (e.g., PeopleSoft security system of records, SISP SharePoint Pages, internal SISP file folders, etc.) with data entry in a timely manner/real time related to case management, as needed (U) Respond in a timely manner to all telephone and/or email actions, questions, or status inquires (U) Assist in maintaining distribution lists for customers to contact PERSEC for case management, as needed/required (U) Bring case management issues to the attention of the government Team Leads (U) Assist the government PERSEC team to help in developing recommendations for case management improvement (U) Provide innovative process improvement solutions to improveNGA PERSEC
case management system and reportability to DNI utilizing process improvement techniques and methods (U) Document and provide Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the SISP designated template and timeline to the Government Lead (U) Monitor all case progress to ensure cases are completed within IRTPA mandates. (U) Manage assignment, tracking, reporting and prioritization of cases as specified by the Government (U) Accurately create the DNI Quarterly Metrics reports and deliver for review at least three business days prior to the external suspense (U) Prepare the SISP monthly metrics slides with all required information and deliver to SISP leadership by the seventh business day of the month (U) Elevate to the SISP leadership issues and proposed solutions to bottlenecks precluding achievement of metrics and pull metrics reports as requested by government PERSEC teams (U) Maintain all tracking reports and status reports in PERSEC Drive shared files, with the latest revision in the external folder, and historical records maintained in an archive folder (U) Maintain metrics slides and reports in the PERSEC shared files on COE and SBU, as appropriate based on classification level (U) Ensure all case data entry is current and accurate in the PeopleSoft Investigations and Adjudication Modules (U) Inspect and document that all folders are clearly marked and easily searchable; using the document mapping criteria provided by theInvestigations and Adjudications Branch Chiefs Skills and Experience:
Required:
(U) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field to personnel security (U) Significant experience in personnel security (7-10 years) in the DOD/IC (U) Significant experience with Microsoft Suite (U) Attention to detail when applying personnel security case management methodologies (U) Demonstrated experience in clear and concise writing skills (U) Excellent organizational skills to ensure meeting required timelines and Federal Investigative Standards quality standardsSimilar remote jobs
