Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Outreach Senior Manager is a full-time position, designed to assist the Director of Community Outreach in administrative program management including, but not limited to the direct supervision of the Community Outreach Specialist. The Community Outreach Senior Manager will provide direct care management services through advocacy, information and referrals, crisis intervention services and case management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory Duties  Provide direct supervision to all Community Outreach Specialist.  Assist Outreach Specialist in completing accurate case records by providing peer level guidance and support.  Ensure Outreach Specialist accurately document outreach activities and contacts made with the Homeless.  Ensure Outreach Specialist are in compliance with Housing First, Inc. Policies & Procedures. Outreach Duties  Review and audit assigned files for accuracy and completeness.  Develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, community organizations, public assistance entities, and stakeholders to facilitate successful referrals, service delivery and continuity of care.  Develop and maintain relationships with all departments within the organization to enable inter agency collaboration.  Able to accurately and effectively communicate the mission of Housing, First, Inc. and it's programs, including Coordinated Entry to community members, stakeholders, partner agencies and clients to promote awareness and understanding.  Participate in events designed to promote awareness of homelessness and/or provision of Services to homeless individuals/families. Record keeping  Maintains accurate record of each contact with clients during street outreach.  Ensures data completeness and quality rates in the HMS are consistent with applicable HMIS Policies & Procedures.  Ensures that data entry in HMIS is accurate and up to date. Submits all vehicle fuel receipts, attached to an approved purchase order to the Director of Community Outreach in accordance with Housing First, Inc. Policies & Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral or Social Science 2. Good oral and written communication skills 3. Ability to plan and organize self and work to meet goals 4. Must have a valid driver's license for the state of Alabama and a clean driving record
DEMONSTRATED COMPETENCE
1. Communications skills, both with participants and coworkers 2. Collaboration with apartment complex managers and other community resources/linkages 3. Accurate record keeping 4. Organizational skills
