Public Relations Coordinator 15000 Hwy 12, Glen Ellen, CA 95442 $80,000 a year - Full-time $80,000 a year - Full-time Position Summary Public Relations Coordinator is a creative, organized, and relationship-driven position that supports the growth and visibility of our winery portfolio throughout Napa, Sonoma Valley and the US. This role blends marketing, community outreach, public relations, and wine event promotion to strengthen brand awareness, drive visitation, and maintain an active presence within the local wine and hospitality community from a public relations stand point. Key Responsibilities Public Relations Work alongside internal teams to promote winery events, experiences, wine releases, and seasonal campaigns Assist in executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels Community Outreach & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, chambers of commerce, hotels, and hospitality partners Coordinate community engagement opportunities and represent Adair Family Wines at local networking events and community functions Research and identify local sponsorships, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities that align with brand goals Support outreach efforts for charitable initiatives, local partnerships, and regional visibility Community Calendars & Local Promotions Manage submissions to community calendars, tourism listings, event boards, and local media outlets Ensure winery events and experiences are consistently promoted through local and regional channels Track posting deadlines and maintain visibility across tourism and lifestyle platforms Paid Media & Advertising Assist in coordinating paid advertising campaigns across digital publications, tourism platforms, and local media Help track campaign performance, audience engagement, and return on investment Research new advertising opportunities that support visitation, wine sales, and event bookings Wine Competitions & Industry Recognition Research and manage submissions for wine competitions, ratings, and industry awards Assist winemakers with submitting wines for scores and reviews Track deadlines, shipping logistics, entry requirements, and results Maintain records of scores, accolades, and press mentions for marketing and sales use Coordinate promotion of awards and recognitions across marketing channels Content & Outreach Support Assist with gathering content and storytelling opportunities from wine competitions, community outreach events, partnerships, and winery activations Coordinate photography, short-form video, and promotional materials surrounding awards, local engagement, and brand partnerships Work collaboratively with marketing and hospitality teams to highlight winery presence within the community and wine industry Performance Metrics Increase visibility and placement across community calendars and tourism platforms Growth in wine competition participation, scores, and industry recognition Increase in community partnerships and outreach opportunities established annually Improvement in event awareness and attendance through local promotion efforts Consistent execution of paid media campaigns within budget and timeline expectations Timely submission and tracking of wine competition entries and media opportunities Contribution to increased winery visitation, event inquiries, and brand engagement Qualifications Experience in marketing, hospitality, events, PR, wine, tourism, or related industries preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline management Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Passion for hospitality, wine, luxury experiences, and community engagement Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and winery events as needed Preferred Skills Knowledge of the Napa/Sonoma hospitality and wine landscape Photography, video, or content creation experience is a plus Understanding of wine competitions, tourism marketing, or winery operations preferred
