Job Description

The Consumer Relations Coordinator (CRC) is a client centered individual who performs duties linking patients and families with third party payer programs, health and behavioral benefit services, social services and community-based resources. The CRC works closely with community partners to plan and execute various outreach events and connect the community with a variety of health and social resources to ultimately optimize community health and wellness.

06/01/2026 through 12/31/2026 Reports to: Outreach and Enrollment Manager To perform effectively in this position, the employee must have: 1. High school graduate or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate with two years of experience in a community organization linking individuals to public health and social services. 2. Certified Enrollment Counselor (CEC) Certificate preferred. If not certified, must be able to complete training within 30 days of hire and maintain certification annually. 3. Current California driver s license, access to reliable vehicle working excellent working condition, and proof of motor vehicle insurance required. 4. Experience in or a working knowledge in a managed care environment preferred. 5. Fluency in Spanish (speak, interpret, read, and write). 6. Must have exceptional oral and written skills and public speaking experience. 7. Must have pleasant, community-oriented attitude and a professional appearance. 8. Some knowledge and understanding of the public charge assessment preferred. 9. Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff. 10. Ability to utilize a personal computer, with working knowledge of Microsoft office programs to include Microsoft Outlook. 11. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality regarding health care and other patient or client information. 12. Willing and able to work a flexible and sometimes variable schedule.
