San Diego, CA (City Heights/Chollas Creek)
Hours:
Approximately 20 hours per week
Pay Rate:
$25-$27 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to support residents at Auburn Park, a 69-unit affordable housing community in San Diego. The majority of the residents at this community are of Somali descent so an understanding of culture and the ability to speak Somali is preferred. This role connects residents with community resources, coordinates programs and events, and provides referrals to promote stability and well-being. The ideal candidate is passionate about community engagement and enjoys building partnerships to foster a positive living environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for resident services at assigned properties. Provide resource referrals and support to promote housing stability and self-sufficiency. Plan, coordinate, and evaluate onsite resident programs and activities. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and service providers. Maintain accurate event files, reports, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with property management to support resident success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1-3 years of experience in case management, community engagement, or resident services. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships with diverse populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
