Part-Time Position Summary:

Meals That Connect is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Specialist to support the planning and execution of community events, including our annual Pickle Festival. This is a part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, community engagement, and bringing events to life from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution for the Pickle Festival and other community events Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and community partners Support logistic for all vendors including food service coordination Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to promote events and increase attendance Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown Ensure a positive and engaging experience for attendees

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in event planning, community engagement, or related field Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with vendors and community partners Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed Passion for community-based programs and mission-driven work

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience planning festivals or large-scale community events Familiarity with nonprofit or food-based programs

Pay:

$25.00 per hour
