Job Description

Overview:
My Autism Connection (MAC) is seeking a part-time Autism Program Support Facilitator to support our programs for Level 1 autistic adults. This role combines hands-on engagement with members during events and outings, oversight of interns and volunteers, and management of social media to promote MAC's mission and programming.
Responsibilities:
Program & Event Facilitation:
Lead weekly programming and community outings (Wednesday evenings; two Friday evenings per month; and one Saturday per month), with Tuesdays reserved for occasional or expanding career exploration tours Coordinate field experts to present 2-3 sessions per month Prepare sign-up sheets, manage attendance, and guide member participation Supervise and support interns and volunteers during events Ensure the safety and well-being of all members during activities Capture photos/videos during events for organization use
Social Media Coordination:
Maintain and update MAC's social media platforms with program highlights Post event content, engage with the community online, and respond to messages as appropriate Track basic analytics to measure reach and engagement
Qualifications:
Experience working with adults with autism or developmental disabilities Strong interpersonal and group management skills Ability to supervise multiple participants and volunteers effectively Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend events
