- Full-time Position Summary The Campus Life Coordinator is responsible for promoting the school's mission and culture through strategic communications and meaningful student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Activities & School Culture Oversee and coordinate school-wide events, including spirit weeks, assemblies, and extracurricular activities. In coordination with the Executive Director, develop and implement programs that foster school culture, enhance student engagement, and cultivate a positive campus atmosphere. Act as a liaison between students, staff, and administration to address campus life needs and concerns. Supervise school clubs and ensure alignment with the school's mission and values. Alumni Relations Establish and maintain the school's alumni association to foster long-term relationships with graduates. Organize alumni events such as reunions, networking opportunities, and engagement campaigns. Develop and manage an effective alumni communication strategy, including newsletters, social media, and event coordination. Teacher and Staff Appreciation Plan and implement initiatives to recognize and appreciate teachers, staff, and administrators. Coordinate Teacher Appreciation Week and other recognition events throughout the school year. Ensure all appreciation efforts align with the school's mission, values, and culture. Communication & Media Management Coordinate internal and external communications, including newsletters, social media updates, and event promotions, with the approval of the Executive Director. With the approval of the Executive Director, distribute press releases, announcements, and official school communications. Manage the school's website and other digital platforms to ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and engaging content. Student & Parent Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and students regarding school activities, announcements, and general inquiries. Organize and manage parent-teacher events, meetings, and volunteer opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to strengthen school-to-home communication and foster family involvement. Event Coordination Plan, execute, and evaluate school events, including parent-teacher conferences, fundraising events, and school-wide celebrations. Supervise bake sales and other student-led fundraising activities. Work closely with vendors, volunteers, and school leadership to ensure events run smoothly. Assist the Executive Director with major fundraising events and community engagement strategies. Community Outreach & Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to foster a strong network. Seek opportunities for sponsorships, collaborations, and partnerships to enrich the student experience. Partner with local organizations to promote community involvement and volunteerism. Additional Responsibilities Assist in coordinating graduation ceremonies, award recognitions, and milestone school celebrations. Supervise bake sales and other student-led fundraising activities. Collect funds for club-related events in coordination with the School Finance Department. Support additional administrative and engagement initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director. Qualifications Associate Degree in Communications, Education, Public Relations, or a related field. Or 2 years of experience in a related field Experience in school communications, event coordination, student engagement, or alumni/community relations (K-12 setting preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, social media platforms, and web content management systems. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to collaborate across departments, build positive relationships, and represent the school with professionalism and enthusiasm. Experience in event planning and project management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools. Passion for fostering positive school culture and supporting student success.Salary and Benefits:
Salary amounts are set annually by the Executive Director.
