In this energetic position, you will coordinate meal service activities, manage volunteer teams, and promote a welcoming environment that encourages social interaction and well-being. Your leadership will help create an inclusive space where participants feel valued, supported, and connected. Duties Oversee the setup, serving, and cleanup of congregate meal sessions, ensuring efficient and friendly service. Train and supervise volunteers to assist with meal distribution, social activities, and participant engagement. Coordinate with community partners to promote program participation through social media management and outreach efforts. Manage participant registration and attendance records. Facilitate a warm, inclusive environment by engaging with participants through public speaking and social work skills. Supervise staff and volunteers, providing leadership that motivates teamwork and maintains high standards of service. Skills Experience in managing teams and volunteers with a passion for community service. Public speaking abilities to communicate clearly with diverse audiences. Experience in campus recruitment or outreach to engage new volunteers or participants. Skilled in promoting programs to increase community awareness.
