Social / Newsletter Coordinator Park Place is a large 55+ adult condominium community situated on 37 acres in the Pembroke Pines / Miramar area. The community consists of six (6) eight-story residential buildings, a clubhouse, four (4) pools, and six (6) tennis courts. Our primary focus is providing professional community management and exceptional services to our senior residents. We are currently seeking a responsible, energetic, creative, and organized Social / Newsletter Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will perform a variety of administrative, social event planning, newsletter, and resident engagement duties. Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and general office equipment.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage community newsletters, announcements, and social media posts Develop attractive and profitable advertising opportunities to help offset newsletter and event expenses Generate fresh monthly ideas for community activities and resident engagement Coordinate, organize, and assist with community events and social functions Create promotional materials, flyers, artwork, and event communications Work closely with management, vendors, residents, and the Social Committee Receive visitors and incoming phone calls Perform data entry and scan documents Receive payments and schedule social events Type correspondence, notices, and letters Oversee holiday parties, event setup, decorations, and inventory Purchase and pick up event supplies as needed Prepare calendars for Association functions including housekeeping, bus schedules, and social events Take photographs of community events for newsletters, posts, and bulletin boards Prepare and distribute bus tickets and event tickets Update in-house TV announcements Create and manage advertisements for the community post/newsletter Type articles and social updates for newsletters Invoice advertisers, collect payments, and recruit new advertisers to help offset publication, payroll and event costs Research articles of interest including travel, recipes, puzzles, and resident activities, field trips for residents and new activities events. Regular meetings with the Event Committee organizers. Print and distribute newsletters to buildings and advertisers Perform additional duties as assigned Full Time - M-F 8am-4pm Health Insurance after 90 days, sick time accumulated after 2 1/2 months, and a few observed holidays benefits after 90 days probation. Vacation - One week after a year of employment
Requirements:
Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written preferred) Must reside locally within the Pembroke Pines / Miramar area Strong communication and organizational skills Creative mindset with marketing and promotional experience preferred Experience with newsletters, social media, event coordination, or community activities preferred Positive attitude, energetic personality, and ability to engage with a 55+ community General office experience required Advanced computer knowledge, including
Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Bilingual (English & Spanish) - A Must Copier Xerox Prime Link C9070 Knowledge for Newsletter Post and Posters Advanced computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite) Excellent communication skills.
