Job Description
About the Position We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and personable Community Outreach Assistant to help increase awareness and engagement throughout the local community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, working outdoors, and representing a community-focused organization in a positive and professional manner. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well-groomed, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with residents from all backgrounds. Responsibilities Attend community gatherings and local events throughout Indian River County Distribute complimentary bottled water and informational materials Engage respectfully with residents and answer basic questions Assist with neighborhood outreach efforts Deliver door hangers to residential communities Install and maintain signs in approved and authorized locations Assist with setup and organization of outreach activities Represent the organization professionally at all times Provide feedback and observations from community interactions
