  • Part-time Position Summary Ewa by Gentry is a master-planned community with two community centers, three large parks and several smaller common area amenities.
The Community Ambassador 1 provides exceptional customer service to members and guests and maintains a positive and safe environment. This role supports are range of recreation and community activities including swim programs, swap meets, large community events, special holiday offerings, facility rentals, activity classes and much more. Staff members move between locations as directed with a combination of time spent indoors and outdoors. Schedule Part time, 2-3 shifts a week, evening and weekend hours Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide a visible presence to visitors and facility users
  • Greet and engage with community members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about programs and facilities
  • Book and coordinate rentals for parties, events, and activities
  • Handle checks and credit card transactions, and process payments accurately
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to voicemails
  • Communicate effectively with members, guests, and co-workers
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Monitor community facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests
  • Utilize Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Association policies to accomplish tasks Desired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • One year of work in recreation or customer service
