Summary:
Responsible for the outreach to, coordination with, and effective management of community relationships in enrollment of learners with barriers to completing credentials. Establishes and provides operational oversight of community partnerships and drafts effective outcome-based partnership agreements, as required. Arranges for learner support services to facilitate enrollment, prepares documentation in Slate, compiles a monthly board report, and oversees the Community Based Organization (CBO) newsletter submitted through marketing. Coordinates with other departments involved in recruitment and service/support activities for learners. Works closely with community-based organizations and other groups to deliver information and connect them to learner support areas to maximize programming results in learner engagement, enrollment, and success. Participates in Admissions outreach functions, open houses, off-site recruitment events and other events as required. Coordinates with the President's Office, the WEI Community Relations Manager, CE, and Workforce Development staff to serve admissions support requests. Assists in the recruitment of Adult Learners. Compensation for the Lead Coordinator - Community Outreach is $49,899.20-$57,366.40 annually.Essential Functions:

Establishes, coordinates, manages, monitors, and facilitates community outreach strategy in support of learners with barriers to completing credentials. Interacts with prospective learners to create and implement plans resulting in student enrollment Oversees and documents approach to each agency including a timeframe for ongoing systematic connection, engagement, and recruitment. Effectively plans, prioritizes, manages, and directs multiple projects and activities with varied deadlines across multiple agencies and community organizations. Works closely with the President and other Cabinet members to follow up on needs of community organizations discovered as a result of their community outreach. With the direction from the Vice President - Workforce Development and Community Vibrancy, prepares partnership agreements with agencies that are mutually beneficial to both organization's mission. Exercises initiatives and sound judgement in making decisions, interpreting, and applying internal policies and governmental regulations, and planning project activities. Works closely with Workforce Development Division Staff and the Workforce Community Outreach Manager. Coordinates an annual CBO event on the ICC campus, bringing together local community leaders to learn more about educational, training, and credentialing opportunities that help adults in our community build new skills. Analyzes community-based projects to assess impact at ICC, recommend actions, and guide approved improvements. Recruits and maintains an adult learner territory. Perform related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications :
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in education administration, management, marketing, communications, social sciences, or related field. 2 years of experience in a community outreach, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Evidence of ability to analyze data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including establishing and maintaining cooperative and professional working relationships with others.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in higher education. Experience working with diverse populations. Experience with Student Information Systems or Customer Relationship Management technologies.
