Position Summary Senior Manager drives member enrollment, retention and brand awareness by developing community partnerships, organizing events, and educating stakeholders on health services. Key responsibilities include creating outreach strategies, managing budgets, tracking performance metrics, and managing a team of outreach coordinators. What you will do
Strategic Outreach:
Develop, implement, and track community outreach initiatives designed to increase MCO membership and trust; manage external experiential marketing agency.Relationship Management:
Build and maintain partnerships with local healthcare providers, community leaders, nonprofits, and government agencies; Identify key community organizations and coordinates outreach and event planning to promote organizational presence within the community.Event Coordination:
Plan and execute community events, workshops, and marketing campaigns to promote health literacy and MCO services; Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive community relations activities to promote membership growth and retention.Performance Metrics:
Monitor, analyze, and report on outreach activities and community needs, making data-driven recommendations to improve engagement.Team Management:
Oversee, train, and support a team of six Outreach Coordinators to meet enrollment goals, increase brand awareness and ensure high-quality service. Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.Other duties:
Work with CD Coordinators on the timely and accurate use of Sales Force in tracking their work. Coach them on proper use of the software. Maintain the CD past event calendar for State reporting as well as the future event calendar for communication to the Health Plan. Lead the CD Coordinators to ensure they have the logo items and marketing collateral needed for their outreach. Distribute to them. Leading bi-weekly one on one meetings with CD Coordinators Assist with the Member Advisory Committee meetings Minimum Requirements Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Adept at business intelligence Adept at collaboration and teamwork Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsPreferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- 5+ years of management experience
- 5 years of working with community volunteers
- 3 years working in health insurance and/or Medicaid This position is expected to work 40 hours weekly; evenings and weekends may be required.
