Job Description

Position Overview:
The Member Relations & Growth Manager plays a critical role in member recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention. This position ensures that new and existing members understand and utilize their benefits, and that their experience with the Chamber is valuable and rewarding. The Manager will maintain accurate member records, lead sponsorship outreach and reporting, and develop strategies to grow Chamber revenue through membership and partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan to grow Chamber membership. Manage the onboarding of new members including welcome calls, orientation scheduling, and benefit overview. Manage and coordinate in partnership with all staff retention efforts Create engagement plans to encourage participation in events, committees, and promotions. Coordinate with the Executive Director to identify sponsorship opportunities and fulfill sponsorship benefits. Maintain and analyze CRM records (e.g., ChamberMaster) to monitor engagement, retention, and renewal rates. Prepare and present monthly reports on membership statistics and performance. Collaborate with the Events and Marketing Coordinator on member visibility campaigns. Serve as staff liaison to the Chamber Champions (Diplomats) and assist with volunteer recruitment. Coordinate the setup and represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, networking events, and community programs. Assist the Executive Director with other duties as needed to enhance member service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in membership development, sales, or business services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ideally, have experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ideally, also have proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
