Executive Director / Program Leadership Position Overview Recovery Center of Maryland, LLC is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven, and community-focused Outreach Coordinator to support organizational growth through strategic outreach initiatives, referral development, community engagement, and relationship management throughout the Baltimore region. The Outreach Coordinator serves as a key representative of the organization and is responsible for increasing awareness of recovery services, developing referral networks, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting census growth initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, community engagement experience, and a passion for helping individuals access recovery resources and treatment services. The ideal candidate will possess experience working within behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, community services, or related industries and demonstrate the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Outreach & Relationship Development Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, treatment facilities, behavioral health providers, social service agencies, healthcare organizations, government agencies, community partners, and referral sources Conduct regular outreach activities throughout the Baltimore area to increase awareness of Recovery Center of Maryland, LLC services Establish strategic partnerships that support organizational growth and community impact Serve as an ambassador for the organization at community events, networking opportunities, meetings, and outreach initiatives Build strong relationships with referral partners to increase program visibility and patient access Referral Management & Business Development Support referral generation initiatives designed to increase census growth and program utilization Manage inbound and outbound referral communications and coordination activities Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources regarding available programs and services Identify new business development opportunities and market expansion strategies Track referral activities, conversion metrics, and outreach performance indicators Collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies and outreach priorities Community Engagement & Education Coordinate educational presentations, informational sessions, workshops, and community awareness events Educate community partners regarding available recovery programs, treatment options, and support services Develop outreach materials and messaging designed to improve community awareness Participate in local events, health fairs, recovery events, and community engagement initiatives Support efforts to reduce barriers to treatment access and improve community awareness regarding recovery resources Client Support & Care Coordination Assist prospective clients, families, and referral sources by providing information regarding available services Support intake coordination and referral navigation activities when appropriate Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions for individuals entering treatment services Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the referral process Support efforts focused on improving patient engagement and retention Data Tracking & Reporting Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, referral sources, contacts, and partnership development activities Track outreach performance metrics including referral volume, conversion rates, and community engagement activities Prepare regular outreach reports for leadership review Utilize CRM systems, databases, and reporting tools to manage outreach efforts effectively Analyze outreach trends and recommend strategies for continuous improvement Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in outreach, business development, community relations, healthcare marketing, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or related field Experience developing partnerships and referral relationships preferred Strong understanding of behavioral health, substance use treatment, recovery services, or healthcare environments preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to travel throughout the Baltimore region regularly Preferred Qualifications Experience working within substance use treatment, recovery services, behavioral health, or healthcare organizations Existing relationships within healthcare, behavioral health, social services, or community organizations preferred Experience with CRM platforms, outreach tracking systems, or referral management tools Knowledge of recovery support services and behavioral healthcare systems Core Competencies Relationship Building Community Engagement Business Development Communication & Presentation Skills Networking & Partnership Development Problem Solving Organization & Time Management Customer Service Orientation Collaboration & Teamwork Data Tracking & Reporting Adaptability & Flexibility Professional Communication Physical Requirements Frequent travel throughout Baltimore and surrounding service areas Ability to stand, walk, and attend events for extended periods Ability to transport outreach materials and event supplies when necessary Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for community events and outreach activities About Recovery Center of Maryland, LLC Recovery Center of Maryland, LLC is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based recovery services that empower individuals to achieve long-term wellness and sustainable recovery.
