As one of Maine's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics ( CCBHC•), we are committed to provide innovative, compassionate, and high-quality care. We are seeking an energetic, passionate individual to be our first Engagement and Outreach Coordinator. In this position, you'll be the face of KBH in the community, representing our mission at events, building relationships with partners and donors, and helping us tell the stories that make our work matter. You'll work alongside a passionate Development and Communications team and play a meaningful role in how our community understands and connects with behavioral health. The position will be located in Augusta. Here's a taste of what you'll be working on in this role: Show up for KBH in the community—attending meetings, events, and coalitions as our representative. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and partners. Support our annual fundraising campaigns and donor appreciation efforts. Help capture and share the stories of our programs and the people we serve. Collaborate on content for newsletters, social media, and other communications. Provide general support to our Development & Communications team, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
Requirements:
Associate's degree required ; Bachelor's in Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience in community outreach, nonprofit work, communications, or a related field—traditional and non-traditional paths are welcome. Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with donor management tools is a bonus, like Raiser's Edge. Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel locally. Lived experience in or alongside the communities we serve is valued.
