Schedule:

Wednesdays:

10:00 AM•3:00

PM Thursdays:

10:00 AM•4:00

PM Fresh Food Friday Events:

8am•2 pm May 8th and 22nd, June 12th and 26th, July 10th and 24th August 14th and 28th, September 11th and 25th Additional support for pre-scheduled community events

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, community-minded Community Outreach Coordinator to support our outreach efforts through direct service, relationship-building, and event participation. This role is vital in helping connect individuals and families with resources through our mobile programs and outreach events.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the coordination and execution of outreach programs Drive and operate the organization's Mobile Pet Resource Center to community locations Distribute pet food, supplies, and information to community members Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners and participants Help set up and staff resource tables at events Maintain accurate records and data from outreach interactions Support other duties as needed related to outreach and engagement

Qualifications:

Must have a clean driving record; driving history must be approved by our insurance company prior to hiring Previous experience driving a large vehicle such as a van or small bus is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in varying weather conditions Passion for community work and helping people and pets Flexibility to support events outside regular hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in community engagement or outreach Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus Knowledge of local community resources and organizations
