Full Job Description Commitment:

20-30 hours/week, W-2 part-time Hourly rate: $20-25 based on experience

Bilingual English/Spanish required We The Gente (WTG) is hiring its first paid Programs & Community Engagement Coordinator . This person works directly with the Executive Director to keep WTG's programs running, families supported, partners engaged, and the community connected. What you'll do Run the operational backbone of WTG's programs. Coordinate logistics for community food distribution from intake through delivery and follow-up. Route incoming family inquiries by our incoming messaging system to the appropriate program. Support cohort-based workforce programming and partner-led career pathway sessions. Track family stabilization cases through to resolution. Be a visible face of WTG in the community. Steward relationships with community partners. We need someone who can capture, edit, and post bilingual content from a phone and make it look good. Support the Executive Director directly. Board meeting prep and minutes, calendar coordination, donor follow-up, light bookkeeping, and helping move things across the finish line that need ED awareness but not ED hands. We are a small team and everyone wears more than one hat. What you'll need Bilingual English/Spanish, with comfort using Spanish in family-facing communication. Most of WTG's families are Spanish-first. Operationally strong. You can hold many threads at once, follow up reliably, and turn a chaotic week into a manageable one. You don't drop the ball on the small things that families and partners are depending on. Community-rooted. You understand the lived experience of Latino families in southeastern Minnesota, or you bring deep relationships to communities like ours. You greet every family that walks up with the same warmth, no matter how busy the day is. Tech-savvy. You'll work across multiple tech heavy apps. We don't need experts, but we do need people who are comfortable with technology. Who thrives here People who want WTG to be the organization Latino families needed but didn't have. People who can hold operational complexity and community warmth in the same hand. People who see the difference between a program and a paperwork pile, and who keep families on the program side. People who understand that the small things, a return call, a thank-you note, a partner email sent the same day, are how a small organization earns the trust it needs to grow. Compensation and benefits $20-25 per hour, W-2 employment with We The Gente. Paid on a semi-monthly schedule. 20-30 hours per week to start.
