This position focuses on fostering lifelong connections by increasing student enrollment through phone calls, emails, and social media. Responsibilities include outreach and engagement events, updating alumni contact information, scheduling parent and student walk and talk tours, promoting upcoming events (such as Back to School Bash), and soliciting support for the Friends of Confluence campaigns. This job reports to Student Recruitment and Community Outreach Coordinator Essential Functions Execute high-volume outreach via phone calls, personalized emails, and social media to prospective families to drive new student enrollment. Canvass local community to provide materials to families about enrollment opportunities with Confluence Academies. Conduct personal outreach via telephone and email to pending applicants to assist with the application process and schedule "Walk and Talk" tours for parents and students, coordinating with the school registrars and principals for campus visits. Attend outreach events and collect a list of potential supporters and families that inquire about enrollment with Confluence Academies, serving as a knowledgeable representative of Confluence Academies, articulating the school's mission and value proposition to the community. Facilitate conversations regarding alumni experiences at Confluence Academies and gather testimonials to promote on social media channels. Represent the student body at Confluence Academies' events, such as alumni sporting events or board meetings. Other Functions Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Confluence network.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities SKILLS are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: maintaining accurate records, using basic office technology, communicating effectively, and providing customer-friendly service.
KNOWLEDGE
is required to perform basic office software, communication practices, and customer service principles. ABILITY is required to schedule a number of activities, meetings, and/or events; often gather, collate, and/or classify data; and consider a number of factors when using equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others in a variety of circumstances; analyze data utilizing defined but different processes; and operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods. Ability is also required to work with a wide diversity of individuals; work with data of varied types and/or purposes; and utilize a variety of job-related equipment. Problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data frequently requires independent interpretation of guidelines; and problem solving with equipment is moderate. Specific ability based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: being attentive to detail; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; communicating with persons with diverse technical knowledge and skills; maintaining confidentiality; and working with frequent interruptions.
Responsibility Responsibilities include:
working under general supervision using standardized practices and methods; coordinating activities with other staff as needed. Work Environment The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 30% walking, 20% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Experience:
No prior job-related experience required. This is a seasonal, temporary position with training provided. Candidates must demonstrate reliability and the willingness and ability to learn quickly, follow directions, and perform assigned duties in a fast-paced environment.
