Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and logistical support for fundraising events and community engagement activities Assist with event planning, preparation, and day-of event coordination Support corporate sponsorship outreach and in-kind donation coordination Help prepare donor acknowledgements, thank-you letters, and stewardship communications Maintain accurate donor and gift records in the donor database Enter and update donor interactions, gifts, and meeting notes in a timely manner Assist with annual appeals, fundraising campaigns, and other development projects Draft and format communications for print, email, social media, and website updates Support storytelling and content development that communicates Watsons mission and impact Help coordinate volunteer engagement and provide support for volunteer groups Represent Watson Childrens Shelter at select community events and outreach opportunities Assist with processing donations and recording transactions accurately and promptly Provide general administrative support to the Development Director and development team as needed Qualifications Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred Experience in fundraising, event coordination, administrative support, communications, or community organizing preferred Experience working in nonprofit organizations and/or youth-serving organizations is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with professionalism and flexibility Comfort working collaboratively with donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools is a plus Experience with donor database systems is preferred A valid Drivers License is required Ability to lift up to 25 pounds recblid 1x3sm9spxsgnp340jberxsns76ndue
