This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to build a foundation in sales, marketing, fundraising, and leadership while making a positive impact in the communities we serve. The Community Outreach Associate will begin by running short-term, event-based outreach efforts throughout the local area, engaging directly with the public to educate, build relationships, and generate support for nonprofit partners. No prior experience is required — comprehensive training is provided. Key Responsibilities Represent nonprofit partners at local community events, retail pop-ups, and promotional locations Engage face-to-face with community members to share nonprofit missions and encourage support Execute event setup, operation, and breakdown Generate donations and supporter enrollments through ethical, professional sales practices Maintain a positive, knowledgeable brand presence Track daily outreach and event performance Work collaboratively with a team while developing leadership skills Learn sales fundamentals, community marketing, territory coverage, and client representation This role includes structured training in: In-person sales and customer engagement Community outreach and nonprofit fundraising Event marketing and promotions Brand and client representation Territory management Leadership and team development
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in public, in-person environments Coachable, reliable, and motivated to grow Interest in sales, marketing, or community engagement Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends Reliable transportation within the local area
