Community Outreach Coordinator

The C.W. Williams Community Health Center, Inc. is expanding and looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for creating new initiatives, creating sponsorship agreements, and cultivating relationships and linkages with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Maintain a calendar with all in-reach & outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities. Prepare and coordinate community workshops and appearances that will reach out to different communities and connect with new community partners. Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners. Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility. Assist in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives. Help the organization connect with new partners. Reaching out to families who have inquired, visited our website, or who have been referred to us. Assisting those who walk-in our door for the first time and giving them information and resources.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields is preferred. Excellent written communication and presentation skills. Strong experience preparing reports. Must be comfortable using Microsoft products. Friendly, enthusiastic, compassionate, and positive attitude. Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.
