Community Outreach Specialist Part-Time About King's Park International Church RTP/Durham King's Park is a well-established, multi-site church with ministries that extend locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Team:
The Community Outreach Specialist serves as a contributing team member within the Community Outreach Ministry , carrying out responsibilities that support the mission and daily operations of King's Park. This role upholds the church's vision, mission, and values through consistent service, teamwork, and personal integrity. The Community Outreach Specialist supports others in Knowing God, Growing Together, Discovering Purpose, and Making a Difference through the faithful execution of logistical, organizational, and outreach support responsibilities. This role reports to an Associate Pastor and works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure a healthy, organized, and effective outreach environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as a delivery driver for King's Park Community Outreaches, ensuring timely and safe transportation of supplies and resources Organize and maintain Community Outreach storage spaces (including HOM closet, freezer, and refrigerators) to ensure cleanliness, accessibility, and proper inventory management Ensure the King's Park cargo van is properly maintained, including routine cleaning, fueling, and coordinating service needs Report to grocery stores and food banks promptly and deliver donations immediately after pick-ups Support the preparation and execution of outreach initiatives through hands-on, practical assistance Assist with general operational tasks that contribute to the effectiveness and sustainability of Community Outreach efforts Skill & Technical Requirements Strong work ethic and reliability Clear communication and a collaborative mindset Ability to follow directions while taking initiative when appropriate ? Flexible, adaptable, and teachable Alignment with the mission and values of King's Park Ability to maintain a clean driving record and operate vehicles safely in accordance with NC law Preferred Qualifications Experience in delivery, logistics, or stocking environments ? Experience serving within church or nonprofit settings Working knowledge of Google Workspace Ability to read and write in Spanish (preferred but not required) If you feel called to this role but don't meet all the qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
