Save the Planet! through energy efficiency services. Providing customer-centered and cost-effective solutions to build long-term relationships with our clients. The Community Outreach Coordinator will be a direct link from our client to individual customers and the community. In this role, you will provide advice and coordination services for the energy efficiency programs which include lighting, water conservation, sealing and insulation. This is a client-and community facing role in which you will interact with customers, community organizations, stakeholders, and elected officials. The individual hired should have a positive/proactive attitude that promotes collaborative teamwork and problem solving. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, ability to multi-task, excellent customers service, strong organizational skills, and ability to create rapport with the community. Qualifications College degree or equivalent work experience. 3 years of experience working with community and customers Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize, multitask. And strong organizational skills. Detail and deadline oriented. Comfortable with public speaking and presentation Applicants must possess a valid driver's license. Employment may require a satisfactory criminal record and motor vehicle record search. Employment may require drug and alcohol screening. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Essential Functions Initiate strong customer and community interest in our energy efficiency programs. Maintaining strong ongoing communications with customers to assure customer satisfaction. Present and communicate with customers, stakeholders, and elected officials. Contribute to the deployment of program marketing and outreach campaigns. Responding to customer inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person to move Assist in the preparation of status reports to accurately describe activities in the field Additional projects as needed Physical Requirements The Community Outreach Coordinator is required to meet occasional physical demands. These include but are not limited to, standing for long periods of time, walking longer than average distances, and possess the ability to carry and lift equipment up to 30 pounds. In addition, the Community Outreach Coordinator will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions. Schedule The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM except for recognized holidays. The position requires a minimum of a 40-hour work week as determined by the supervisor to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities. Certain functions of the position require travel, weekend and evening hours work schedules. Application Process Submit resume highlighting related experience.
