Albany, NY Job Details Part-time $22.50 - $24.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Program development Computer literacy Calendar management Productivity software Workforce development Full Job Description Community Resource Room Coordinator Part-Time (25-28 Hours per Week) Position Summary The Community Resource Room (CRR) Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, promotion, and utilization of CDCI's Community Resource Room. The Coordinator will facilitate workshops, provide individualized assistance, conduct outreach, support community members in accessing resources and technology, and ensure the CRR remains a welcoming, accessible, and productive environment. This position supports CDCI's mission of promoting independence, self-sufficiency, community inclusion, employment, and access to resources through education, skill-building, and community engagement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Community Resource Room Operations Open, monitor, and maintain the Community Resource Room during designated operating hours. Provide orientation to new users regarding available resources, equipment, and services. Assist individuals with accessing computers, printers, internet, and other technology resources. Track room utilization, attendance, and participant outcomes. Workshop and Program Coordination Plan, coordinate, and facilitate monthly workshops and educational programming. Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of events and activities.
Conduct workshops on topics including:
Employment readiness Digital literacy Independent living skills Benefits and financial literacy Outreach and Community Engagement Promote the CRR through community outreach activities. Distribute flyers and promotional materials throughout the community. Resource Navigation and Referral Connect individuals to CDCI programs and external community resources. Assist consumers as needed with online applications for employment, housing, benefits, and community services. Support individuals in navigating community systems and accessing available supports. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate participant records and attendance logs. Collect participant satisfaction surveys and outcome data. Prepare monthly reports regarding utilization, outreach activities, and program outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree in Human Services, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, older adults, or underserved populations preferred. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and virtual platforms. Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Reliable transportation for community outreach activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating workshops, trainings, or group activities. Knowledge of disability services, independent living philosophy, workforce development, housing resources, benefits systems, and community resources. Experience with outreach, marketing, or community engagement.
Pay:
$22.50 - $24.00 per hour
