Job Description
About Counseling For You Counseling For You is a growing outpatient mental health practice with locations in Merrick, Massapequa Park, and Manhattan, serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout New York. We are committed to improving access to high-quality mental health care while building meaningful relationships within the communities we serve. We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development & Community Outreach Manager to help expand our referral network and strengthen partnerships throughout Long Island and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, building professional relationships, and representing an organization that makes a meaningful impact in the community. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, schools, hospitals, treatment programs, community organizations, and other referral sources. Represent Counseling For You at networking events, health fairs, and community outreach programs. Schedule and conduct outreach visits throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Identify new partnership opportunities that increase awareness of Counseling For You and support practice growth. Maintain regular communication with existing referral partners while developing new relationships. Coordinate presentations, educational events, and community partnerships. Track outreach activity, referral sources, and relationship development using Microsoft Office and internal systems. Work closely with leadership to develop and execute outreach and business development initiatives. Assist with marketing materials, referral resources, and practice representation as needed. Monitor outreach effectiveness and identify opportunities to increase referrals and community engagement. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, organized, and self-motivated. Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong relationship-building and networking abilities. Willingness to travel throughout Long Island. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, business development, community outreach, physician relations, admissions, marketing, social work, or related fields is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is a plus.
