Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy & Chiropractic Practice Location:
Manhattan, New York Salary Range:
$55-60k (plus bonus potential)
Schedule:
Onsite Daily / Monday-Friday / 10 AM-6 PM Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Outreach Specialist to represent our multidisciplinary medical practice specializing in sports medicine, physical therapy, and chiropractic care. This individual will play a key role in building community partnerships, increasing patient referrals, and promoting the practice throughout the local market. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients access high-quality healthcare services that improve mobility, recovery, and overall wellness. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, athletic organizations, fitness centers, schools, employers, and community groups. Promote the practice's sports medicine, physical therapy, and chiropractic services to referral sources and community partners. Coordinate and attend networking events, health fairs, athletic events, and community outreach activities. Conduct presentations and educational workshops regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness services. Generate new patient referral opportunities and support business development initiatives. Track outreach efforts, referral activity, and community engagement metrics. Collaborate with providers and leadership to develop marketing and outreach strategies. Maintain professional knowledge of practice services, treatment programs, and patient care offerings. Represent the practice in a professional and positive manner at all times. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred. Previous experience in healthcare outreach, physician liaison, medical marketing, business development, or sales preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build long-term professional relationships. Comfortable speaking in public and representing the organization at events. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems. Reliable transportation for local travel and community visits. Preferred Experience Experience working with sports medicine, rehabilitation, physical therapy, chiropractic, orthopedic, or wellness practices. Existing relationships within the healthcare, fitness, or athletic community. Knowledge of referral development and patient acquisition strategies.
