About the role The Fundraising & Development Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing the mission of the organization by securing financial support, building community partnerships, and strengthening donor relationships. This individual will work closely with leadership to execute fundraising strategies, coordinate events, and expand the organization's reach across the community. You will be joining a passionate, mission-driven team dedicated to improving mental health access and support services across the communities we serve. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact while helping a growing nonprofit build sustainable funding and long-term success. What you'll do Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet monthly and annual revenue goals Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with individual donors, businesses, and community partners Plan and coordinate fundraising events (e.g., 5Ks, golf tournaments, community campaigns, donation drives) Manage online fundraising platforms and campaigns (such as donation pages and social media appeals) Create compelling donor outreach materials including emails, sponsorship letters, and social media content Track donations, maintain donor records, and generate reports for leadership and board members Research and pursue grant opportunities, including assisting with proposals and reporting Collaborate with leadership to build sponsorship packages and partnership opportunities Support board engagement in fundraising efforts and community outreach Ensure all fundraising activities align with the organization's mission and compliance requirements Qualifications Passion for nonprofit work, community impact, and mental health advocacy Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community outreach preferred (but not required for entry-level candidates with strong potential) Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple projects at once Comfortable with outreach (calls, emails, in-person networking) and asking for donations Experience with social media, donor platforms, or CRM systems is a plus Creative mindset with the ability to develop new fundraising ideas and campaigns Reliable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented High school diploma required; college coursework in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field is a plus
