Temporary with Opportunity for Permanent Employment Position Summary We are seeking an energetic, creative, and highly organized Events & Resident Activities Intern to support the Resident Activities Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing resident engagement programs across a portfolio of luxury residential properties. This position offers hands-on experience in event planning, marketing, vendor relations, and community engagement within a premier residential environment. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences that enhance resident satisfaction and foster a strong sense of community. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Resident Engagement Assist with the planning, promotion, coordination, and execution of resident events, programs, and activities across multiple luxury residential communities. Attend and support onsite events, including setup, registration, guest engagement, and breakdown. Encourage resident participation and help cultivate a welcoming community atmosphere. Assist in developing creative event concepts that align with resident interests and lifestyle trends. Resident Feedback & Reporting Track resident participation and event attendance. Assist with resident surveys and feedback collection to better understand resident interests, preferences, and satisfaction levels. Compile event metrics and participation data for management reports. Help identify opportunities to improve programming and resident engagement. Marketing & Communications Support management of building event calendars. Assist with creating content for digital signage, flyers, and resident communications. Coordinate event promotions and resident outreach initiatives. Vendor Relations Assist in researching and identifying local businesses and service providers for resident partnerships. Support the development and maintenance of the Preferred Vendor Program. Help coordinate vendor agreements, promotional opportunities, and resident discounts. Maintain vendor contact databases and partnership records. Networking & Community Outreach Attend local networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and community functions alongside management. Represent the company professionally when interacting with residents, vendors, and community partners. Assist with company-sponsored events and community initiatives. Market Research Monitor competitor properties, resident programming trends, and luxury lifestyle offerings. Conduct online research and occasional site visits to identify innovative resident engagement ideas. Provide recommendations and insights to enhance community programming. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong interest in event planning, hospitality, luxury real estate, or community engagement. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work evenings and weekends for events. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between portfolio properties as needed. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience managing events for luxury residential communities.
