Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and motivated Non-Profit Intern to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating positive social impact. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, community outreach, and program development. As a key member of our organization, you will support various initiatives aimed at enhancing community well-being, advocating for social causes, and fostering sustainable change. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in social work, public health, and nonprofit management while making a meaningful difference. Duties Assist in developing and implementing community programs focused on social health, addiction counseling, and public health initiatives Support volunteer management efforts by recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers for various projects Contribute to fundraising activities through event planning, outreach campaigns, and donor engagement strategies Manage social media platforms by creating content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement to raise awareness of organizational goals Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes, participant feedback, and community needs to inform future initiatives Help coordinate public speaking engagements and outreach events to promote the organization's mission Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and preparing reports for internal use Experience Previous volunteer management or supervising experience is highly desirable Strong skills in public speaking and community outreach are essential Experience in program development or project management within nonprofit or social service settings is preferred Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media management tools is beneficial Background in data collection, analysis, or reporting related to social work or public health projects is advantageous Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in recruiting or mentoring volunteers or team members Familiarity with fundraising techniques and administrative tasks within nonprofit organizations is a plus This paid internship provides an exciting platform for aspiring professionals committed to social change. Required hours are every Monday, Friday and every other Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Occasional days will be available as needed by the organization.
